I would like to share here the ordeal I faced with the Eden Group, registration number:

My name is Yasmine, I came to Israel on August 2nd 2015 to work for an international organization and left the country on January 6th 2016.
Here are the facts of my claim:
1- I have signed a lengthy agreement with Elad Eden (Emanuel Alma Hotels, 29 Hayarkon street) to rent an apartment on Simtat Bait Habad street off Hertzel street and have paid 3500 NIS as a security deposit on August 25th 2015. I have paid my rent in time including the period august 25th-September 1st plus Daniel (Dany) Golov's broker fees (I still have all money transfers receipts).
2- During the month of October 2015 I tried to go to the company's premises where I signed the contract on 29 Hayarkon street in Bnei Brak along with a colleague lawyer, but the door was closed and there was not a single sign on the door, plus many people I spoke too in the building said that I am not the first one to have this experience.
3- I tried to reach them several times by phone and email about my deposit, during the month of October 2015, and finally they confirmed by email that I will get it upon checkout if the apartment is left on the same condition it was received.
During the checkout process on November 2nd the owner of the building witnessed the good status of the apartment, moreover, he witnessed their agent Eyal running away from the building without taking the keys when I asked him to speak to Elad about my deposit. The owner mentioned all facts in front of the police when I called them.
The second day November 3rd. The following two witnesses were present during the checkout process:
- The head of my office.
- Her administrative assistant who is an Israeli national and also works for the same office.
When Eyal their agent came, he falsely claimed on the checkout record that the apartment had damages. The administrative assistant corrected in BLUE INK along with her signature on what he falsely claimed. I do have the ORIGINAL of her corrected record.
Both people have also witnessed Eyal trying to leave the building without taking the keys for the second time, but the assistant had to run after him and hand him the key.
The above is in addition to CLEAR PICTURES that I have taken for the apartment on the same day and throughout my stay in the apartment showing clearly that the apartment was in good condition and that nothing was missing.
I finally reached Elad Eden by phone and he said that since the apartment has damages I will not see my deposit back and he hung up the phone on me.
After arriving to my country, my partner and I we tried to settle this issue down with Elad, his lawyer and his broker with Derekh Eretz through several emails and phone calls but no result, they keep on being evasive.
As you all already know, they have many companies and buildings all over the city under different names and registered under the name of many of his relevant, and also many brokers.
My story is I guess similar to that many of you had with them. I would like this story to be added to all of yours and reach as many potential renters and concerned web sites as possible.
